So, I went to see the princess and the frog with my droogies (That means friends in Nadset from A.Cw.O.) , , and Lebronza. And I must say the movie is amazing as hell. Expectations were high cuz this is the first 2d feature film from disney in five years (Enchanted doesn't count cuz it only had small scenes). And my high expectatinos went with a high satisfaction! Everybody should see it, especially my fellow AI buddies (and if you're an art student or just an artist you need to see it!). Louis the Trumpet Gator is my favorite, Raymond the cajun firefly was hilarious, the boa snake is adorable and the shadowman had kick ass voodoo powers and "friends". Who doesn't want a shadow to movie on his own? It sure would make life easier, like "Yo, shadowme, toss that remote from the otherside of the room." Oh, I should mention everytime he popped up in the beginning, the little children would start bawling. So, you know it's worth watching.

Also, i know there was some issues over the race of this movie, but really the majority of the movie centered around two frogs that are green. I completely forgot that tiana was black until she was back to being human (and don't say it's a spoiler. it's a disney movie, you know it would happen. C'MON!) So, yeah, race is not an issue when watching.

But the contents in it was like "Is this seriously a pg movie?" For example in past movies, certain things that seemed adult were very subtle, like when you're a small kid you're like yay genie, yay mufasa, yay beast! And as adults we start noticing the "adult theme" in disney movies (Beauty and the Beast, Snow White just to mention a few.) With this one there's mention of voodoo, and soul eating, and the shadow things were like a cartoon version out of a Paranormal Activity. Interesting to see the conversation between a parent and child, "Mommy, why does the creepy shadowman want to eat souls?" HAHA

Let's see, OH! So, after the movie we decided that we were hungry, so because I let my friend drive the car we went all the way to 441 and wiles to Mcdonald's. Apparently if it's late you can only pay with cash and certain meals on the menu are not available, I forgot the numbers but once the lady just started naming 2/3 of the menu we decided IHOP! And I just want to say to my buddy, we still should have went to IHOP on sample. Cuz the first IHOP we went to was closed (And IHOP never closes).

Anyways, I'm just babbaling now cuz it's 3 am. So, just go watch The Princess and The Frog, and you'll be like f**king WOW!!!
